I was watching the repeat on "Yesterday" (21/3/13) and the scene where the car conks out on a steep hill in a very old part of town made me sit up and pay attention - I'm almost positive this was filmed on Elm Hill in Norwich, the mediaeval part of the city. Even though the show is set in Essex, the locations don't all need to be in Essex, right? And Norwich is not an impossible distance away. I knew the place well as an undergraduate at UEA. (Besides, "Monty Python's Flying Circus" did some external location shooting in the very same place),
