When Magnum appears to wake in the year 1936, he begins an investigation into the murder of a construction magnate and the possibility that the father of his client (played by the stunning Anne Lockhart, who also appeared in the first season's episode "Lest We Forget") has been framed.
This is a great homage to the old detective yarns. Magnum has a fun time exploring this alternative state and there's lots to be be enjoyed for the viewer.
10 out of 10. I love "Magnum, P.I." so much because it's always delivering the unexpected. It's incredibly experimental and rarely predictable. Another top drawer episode. Keep your eyes peeled for the feral cat that nearly becomes a door mat!
