This is a great episode because it's set up so wonderfully. The biggest thing is probably how they have this plot of TV's Frank setting up Deep 13 to explode. It's actually nice to see Mike be considerate and help Dr. Forrester, even if it only just concerns him and the bots. The gags with Gypsy and the pinking shears were great too. The sequences out of the theater didn't revolve much around the actual movie, but they did a little. That's rare outside of Season 8. It helps that this was preceded by the short "Keeping Neat And Clean" which just had tons of great material.
My favorite part was probably, "What you need is a shoe shine kit" followed by "Wear this instead!". Another great bit was "That's no way to treat your clothes" with "But that's how they treat me!". It's weird how I thought I had heard of most of Ed Wood's movies, but not this one. It made perfect material for the show. I laughed out loud at "Ed Wood looks great in pantyhouse!". I don't even know why, I just found that really funny. It's great how they reference gluten allergies long before it became mainstream. Another great part was, "How's Cathy doing?" with "Cathy's putting on a bathing suit and saying, "Ack!"". They seem to do a lot of jokes with newspaper comics. There was also "How do you like that?" with "There's a gay character in "For Better Or For Worse!". I know enough about comic strips to understand all of this. It's just pure comedy. ****
