Boy on Fire
Hitchcoc25 August 2021
The title character Israel is a homeless mute who has been accused of murdering and raping an eight year old boy. Sipowicz is convinced the father of the boy is the real perpetrator. But he is smooth and slimy. We go into Part 2 with a strategy which is directed toward a very emotional mother.

Warning: Spoilers
All Andy says is "that prick talks too much and about the wrong things." I am not sure why the writers think they have revealed even a scintilla of a hint as to why we would be suspicious of the father in Brian's disappearance. I know that it is a reality that abusers were abused as children but that is not revealed until later in the episode. I just could not get on board with the suspicion of the father without something more concrete! I'm not sure why we are expected to without a clue in either episode. I am grateful that the topic was covered in this series, but just disappointed in how they built this case out of thin air.
