We have had a few episodes that go into Shelly's past. First, there is husband and their odd relationship. He comes back a second time. Now we have the appearance of her mother, Tammy, who gave birth as a teenager. She is very young an quite attractive. She has just married a kid/soldier and is visiting Shelly. She tells people that Shelly is her older sister. It works too. While this is going on, a tiny baby is left on a chair in Fleischman's waiting room. Soon, the whole community is chipping in for baby duty as they try to find the mother. I loved that Maurice read passages from "Robinson Crusoe" to the little child. Adam continues as a character and experiences a sympathetic pregnancy as Eve is off somewhere in her first trimester. It sounds like fun, but there didn't seem to be a spark in this one. Not bad but not up to pretty high standards.
