The opening features a nighttime shot of the Capitol Records building, which was less than three years old at the time; it opened in April 1956. It's known as The House That Nat Built because of all the Nat 'King' Cole records and merchandise that Capitol sold in the early 1950s.
An early transition shot shows a building bearing the name Mullen & Bluett, which was a Los Angeles department store specializing in men's clothing. It was founded in the 1880s at First and Spring in downtown Los Angeles and in 1910 rented the basement and first floor of a building at Sixth and Broadway.
The curtains in Perry's office are drawn when he and Paul are meeting with Morrow. This might be the only time in the series that the curtains are drawn.
One of the few times Perry's apartment is shown.
