Known for the surprise, on-air confrontation between
Rosie O'Donnell and
Tom Selleck. Raw from the emotion of that year's Columbine High School massacre, O'Donnell essentially blindsided Selleck, who was the-then spokesperson for the National Rifle Association (NRA), with her own views on guns, and utilizing Selleck as a "punching bag," all because of his NRA affiliation. After a several minute back-and-forth, O'Donnell semi-walked back her aggressiveness, while Selleck remained stoic, stating he he was only there to promote a recent film project.
