Rita Hayworth is the special guest star of this "Laugh-In" ep

Warning: Spoilers
Special guest star of this "Laugh-In" is Rita Hayworth. She's a nurse in one running skit, and a drunken movie star who only comes to life when her handler says "Action!" She duets with Lily Tomlin's Tasteful Lady on a song that references the show's cast and various catch phrases. Ernestine this time calls Frank Sinatra who was briefly retired during this time. Of course, she mentions many of his songs! Gladys dreams she's married to Christopher Columbus played by Alan Sues who also reprises his role as kiddie show host Uncle Al. And he keeps getting doused with water every time the clock rings! Obviously, he's now getting the "Sock-it-to-me!" treatment though the only time that phrase was said was during Lily and Rita's duet I just mentioned. Also appearing were Henny Youngman, Doc Severinsen, Jill St. John for the second consecutive week, and James Brolin who was on "Marcus Welby M.D." during this period. This was a pretty entertaining ep of "Laugh-In".
