One of the few post-2000 episodes that's actually good.

The 21st century has ruined The Simpsons - especially in the past two years. But this is one of the episodes of the new millennium that is actually worthy of the good old days. It had me in stitches from start to finish - the "Wiz Kids" section alone was ten times better than most full-length episodes. Whether you want killer houses, evil fortune tellers or magic schools, this Treehouse of Horror is more than likely to score a direct hit in the net of happiness. I have found that this is one of the few episodes of the 2000s that I have been able to let out a large satisfying laugh at - not just a mild chuckle or, even worse, a flat-faced look of pity. And there's also big celebrities voicing this. The vomiting "frog" prince in Wiz Kids was my favourite part. 8/10

2001: A Simpsons Odyssey

Warning: Spoilers
Who would have thought that when the groundbreaking movie 2001: A Space Odyssey was released in 1968, it would be parodied in The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror XII in 2001, yes 2001! So that was 33 years later.

I think the segment parodying 2001: A Space Odyssey and Demon Seed was the best of the bunch in Treehouse of Horror XII, with Pierce Brosnan a very inspired voice for HAL.

Matthew Perry's voice cameo was incredibly funny albeit poignant memoir released this year about his struggles.

Interestingly, in the end credits it states that Dan Castellaneta (who voices Homer Simpson) voiced Dennis Miller.

Halloween 2022

Warning: Spoilers
First segment "Hex and the City" is seemingly funny and enjoyable with Homer being a total idiot after sabotaging a gypsy place, only for a curse placed on him which results those he cares about in unusual predicaments - Marge covering in blue hair and Bart (nicknamed Noodle Neck) neck extended floppy. Lenny and Carl killed by helicopter crashing down into Moe's pub.

Even one scare of Moe, somehow off-screen, is in his jar of pickled eggs and Homer asks same question as me - "How did that happen?"

Seems odd about Homer have to get a leprechaun in order to put stop to the curse. Quite ending Homer says "She's not the boss of me" - could've expected him say that sooner.

The second segment, based on movie Demon Seed and Space Odyssey, has it most horror moments, and I prefer this than "Bad Dream House" of the first series, as the Simpsons given some ultra house and voice performance by Pierce Brosnan. This segment is somewhat like Disney's Recess episode Sal 300 and Scooby-Doo episode High-tech House of Horrors. Only in this one, the automatic house gets creepily obsessed with Marge which I find oddly disturbing, and wants her to itself by eliminating Homer, even with the moment of luring him downstairs and sending him into the disposal blades of garbage disposal - and blood splatter on walls. Unsurprisingly, Homer survived and destroys the CPU. Way Pierce is instead given to Patty and Selma is good ending.

I haven't seen or know much of the third segment as it is simply based on the wizard Harry Potter, and his movies.

Does everybody wants to see more

Well here we go the first the first segment Hex And The City after a gypsy puts a spell on Bart everything goes bad it is also reference to Sex And The City i may have sounded a bit inappropriate but let's continue, the second segment House Of Whacks which is a common reference to 2001 A Space Odyssey just like Treehouse Of Horror XXV after a talking thing gets revenge on Homer and the final segment called Wiz Kids which is a common reference to Harry Potter And The Sorcerer Stone after Bart goes to a wizard school and defeats Lord Voldemort aka Mr Burns and Slithers, also Edna Krabappel also wears costume from the Evil Queen from the 1937 movie Snowhite And The Seven Dwarfs, during the epilogue we can see Pierce, a leprechaun and a frog prince having a fruit basket while they drive their car.
