He will Rule the World! (?)
Rcwilkinson1239 October 2007
Many events prepare for the Season finale in this 22nd episode of the second "Smallville" season.

Dr. Frederick Walden, who was induced with Kryptonian knowledge like Clark midway through the season because was also downloaded with the alien knowledge in the cave, escapes a mental institution and repeats "the day is coming..." while later writing "the last son will rule the world!" Unfortunately, Lionel hears this news and suspects Clark due to his own personal investigation of the caves. Meanwhile, Lex prepares his wedding with Helen. He asks Clark to be his best man, and the Kent parents to fill in for his own. Also, Lionel offers Chloe Sullivan her dream opportunity: the chance to be an intern at the Daily Planet, IF she spies on Clark and reveals secrets to Lionel. Betrayal fill this exciting episode.

This episode is the second part of three fabulous episode to conclude the second season.

The Day Is Coming
claudio_carvalho1 May 2006
Lana Lang gets closer to Clark Kent. Dr. Fredrick Walden (Ron LaBelle) recovers his conscience and repeats the sentence "the day is coming and he will rule the world" many times. He believes that Clark Kent is a menace to mankind. He escapes from the mental institution using a strong power he has achieved and tries to eliminate Clark Kent. Meanwhile, Dr. Helen Bryce returns for her engagement party with Lex Luthor, and finds her office broke in and the blood sample of Clark Kent stole. Clark is invited to be Lex's best man, and Martha and Jonathan Kent to replace his missing parents. Lionel Luthor poisons the relationship of Helen and Lex, and Chloe and Clark, but unfortunately he hears the revelations of Dr. Walden to Lex about Clark.

"Calling" is certainly one of the best episodes of "Smallville", with the story taking new paths and disclosing new secrets. Apparently Clark will learn more about his origins in the next episode. My vote is ten.
