Cartman makes a racist comment "Of course Token can sing. He's black." When the script for this episode was brought to Token's black voice actor, Adrien Beard, who was told he would be singing, he asked "How'd they know I could sing?"
According to the DVD commentary, Adrien Beard does not sing the Lou Rawls song in the episode. The original Rawls recording is used, sped up so that Rawls pitch is higher and childlike, the way all the children's voices in South Park are recorded.
No Chinese is spoken throughout the entire episode; it is gibberish.
There is a poster of "Asses Of Fire" in the Super Awesome Talent Agency's office.
"Asses of fire" was the movie from the beginning 'South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut'
