Violence & Gore
-
- A fairly violent and graphic episode. We see various fights as an telepathic sources is trying to recreate a power struggle among the crew, particularly between Kira and Sisko, as the two have had conflict with each other in the past, but never to the point of Kira plotting against Sisko. Lots of fights, some of it graphic.
- Kira, suspecting that Quark is listening to their plans, assaults Quark against his barstool and the isles in his bar. When he talks to Odo about this, he is injured badly. Graphic.

Violence & Gore
- Sisko nastily tortures one of Kira's men, who ambush the crew. O'Brien smacks Dax as well. Violent.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Not particularly intense, as most of the subject matter is spoken rather than shown (minus the violence), and good does prevail, and they don't get downright evil, but it's still a very unnerving physchological thriller, and it's scary because the telepathic sources bring out the worst in the crew, particularly Sisko, who is usually very cocky and unapologetic, at best, arrogant at worst. Kira is not arrogant, but she is very vengeful and rebellious, with good reason (Bajor is her home).
- Sisko gives a very chilling monologue towards the end of the episode in which he downright vows revenge against Kira for turning her back on him, after all the Federation has done. It's truly chilling to watch.
