The Triad of Skaara
claudio_carvalho15 March 2016
Narim comes to the SGC to invite Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c to go to his planet to participate on the Triad (a judgment) of Skaara as their Archon (attorney). Skaara is requesting to be separated from his Goa'uld Klorel since the Tollan have technology. The Goa'uld Zipacna and the Nox Lya will also participate on the Triad and the Tollan High Chancellor Travel will preside. While Jack and Daniel support the claim of Skaara, Sam and Teal'c snoop around the other Goa'uld that arrived with Zipacna. Soon they discover that the Goa'uld are disabling the Tollan defense weapons. They report their findings to Travel that does not believe in their words. What are the true intentions of the Goa'uld?

"Pretense" is a highly entertaining episode of "Stargate SG-1". The plot entwines a trial with betrayal, sabotage and attack of Goa'uld to the highly developed Tollan. The participation of the Nox Lya is witty since she does not hurt her principles. My vote is eight.

An unexpected but well developed end to a major series storyline. Good on season three dealing with a few mostly ignored key characters. Decent acting and good effects.

Overlooked

I think thus is one of the best episodes. Although overlooked, Kevin Durand is a terici actor As is typical, he is cast as an antagonist. He is in many very good films. For example "Fruitcake Station" and "Winters Tale"; bith have very good casts and crew. He brings everything do his roles. It only makes the show better.
