- A climate control device is stolen from a planet and SG-1 is accused of the theft. They have to find it and restore it before the planet freezes. Then weather on Earth starts to unexpectedly change and the team believe that the device has been stolen by rogue NID agents. Will they find it in time and how did the NID travel off world?—Anonymous
- SG-1 was proud to report to general Hammond the primitive people of Madrona completely control that planet's climate with a sacred artifact known as the Touchstone, presumably left by an ancient, far more advanced race. When they return to study it, they are the only suspects for its theft by a group in earth uniforms through their star-gate, which no Madronan can operate. Only the general was told, but Carter finds back-up computer records that the Antartic, officially decommissioned star-gate was used simultaneously to mask a secret stellar trip, around the time of the theft. Meanwhile, earth is plagued by numerous meteorological disasters, as could be expected when the Madronan artifact was used on our planet without competent re-tuning. They find out NID Colonel Maybourne has been reassigned to the unit which guards the second stargate, and find it replaced by a plastic dummy, but on whose orders, and how can they remove it from earth where it causes problems, back to Madrona where it's needed? More Carter tricks and the general calling in his marker on 'deep throat' Whitlow help locate it.—KGF Vissers
- The SG-1 team returns to a planet with a device which allows the inhabitants to instantaneously modify their weather conditions. They arrive to learn that the device has been stolen by raiders wearing SG uniforms and the planet is rapidly deteriorating into ice age conditions. Back at the command center, General Hammond orders a review of all logs to determine who might have used the Stargate for a surreptitious raid but none is found. It all leads to the inevitable conclusion that someone is using the gate found in Antarctica though, officially at least, it was supposed to have been deactivated and sent to Area 51 for safekeeping. Hammond dispatches SG-1 to the base under some pretext and Col. Maybourne is pleased to show them the dismantled gate in storage which proves to be a replica. The question then becomes who has the gate and for what purposes will it be used.—garykmcd
- Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c return to a primitive planet to examine a device capable to control the weather left by aliens to the inhabitants. However, the natives inform that the SG-1 has stolen the device and now they are freezing. They return to the SG Command and discover that the weather on Earth is abruptly changing. They suspect the National Intelligence Department has sent agents to the planet to steal the device and now is performing experiments to learn how to use it. Further, they suspect that the NID has activated the second Stargate from Antarctica. Will the SG-1 be capable to save the natives from the freezing planet?—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
