Murder Is a Novel Idea

I thought Norman Tuttle found love in the previous episode when he met an old flame working for a dicey company.

Now Norman wants to hook up with an author friend of Jesse.

Stefanie Craig is a true life crime author who tells in a televison interview that she knows the killer of an unsolved murder from 20 years previously. A crime that took place in a college campus.

The real culprits now respectable businessmen try to shut Stefanie up as Street Hawk goes to the rescue.

It is another flat episode, some of the acting was rather bland and bad and the villains were boring.

Murder is a novel idea

A best-selling author known for her publicity stunts claims her research has identified the killer in an unsolved rape-murder case, which bring her face to face with a group of murderers intent on keeping the truth behind the murder case...

There's a nice supporting cast headed by Belinda Montgomery, who plays Stephanie Craig, an old friend of Jesse's who is a novelist. She's creating a stir with her new book that draws attention to an unsolved crime. In fact, she claims she knows the identity of the murderer and that the person is dead. If that's the case, then why is her home vandalized? It's obvious that one in the book isn't the murderer, but she's too thick to realise that. Street Hawk appears less and there's an effort for more plot and snooping, however I found this episode rather bland and barely passable. It's just a bit flat.
