Coby Bell: Tyrone Davis

Quotes

  • Tyrone Davis : [to Sully]  You know, even for you this is a really bad mood. I gotta say.

John Sullivan : You never worked a blackout before.

Tyrone Davis : Now, technically, is it called a blackout during the day?

John Sullivan : Electricity's the only thing keeping us all from turning into animals.

Tyrone Davis : Oh, right, right.

John Sullivan : Believe me. You do not wanna see what a night without it will be like.

Tyrone Davis : [about guys carrying furniture across the street]  Look at this.

John Sullivan : It's starting already.

Tyrone Davis : Oh, yeah, they look pretty dangerous.

    [sees kids playing]

Tyrone Davis : Think maybe we should shoot these kids for playing in the hydrant?

John Sullivan : Davis, when are you gonna start thinking like a cop?

Tyrone Davis : What are you talking about?

John Sullivan : One of these morons is gonna do something stupid and then the whole neighborhood is gonna go off like a 4th of July fireworks show.

  • Tyrone Davis : I remember in the academy they were telling us the cops and the community are supposed to be on the same team, working together, you know?

John Sullivan : Yeah, well, you watch your back tonight or one of those teammates is gonna take your head off.

Tyrone Davis : It's us against them, isn't it?

John Sullivan : Most of the time. All right, listen to me, Ty. When we get out there, keep your back against mine. We work as a team, alright? Nobody gets behind us. It's not gonna be like it is in the movies where it's fair. It's gonna be fast, it's gonna be mean. You hear me? You get out of this van as fast as you can and get with me. Okay?

    Tyrone Davis : Okay. God.

    [sighs]

    Tyrone Davis : You scared?

    John Sullivan : Stay together.

John Sullivan , Tyrone Davis : Nobody gets behind us.
