****SPOILERS**** Yuppie-like CEO of a major coffee & brewing company Sean Moore, Brian Austin Green,is about to be interviewed by the mysterious Elizabeth Carter,Moira Kelly,and spill the beans or coffee beans to the public about his amazing success in the world of business. Instead he's to be ambushed by his past a past that he's been trying hard to forget for the last 15 years.
It turns out that Sean first successful act was stealing his dad's cherished autographed 1927 world champion New York Yankee baseball and selling it to a sport dealer for $8,000.00 to start up his coffee empire! This broke his father Paul's, Alf Humphreys, heart as well as later killed him! Suspicious of reporter Carters' probing Sean calls her editor and is not only shocked to find out that she's not the person that's to interview him but was in fact killed in a car accident three days ago! The kicker is when Saen found his old high school jacket in his closet that he burned 15 years ago with a letter from his then girlfriend Bess Wicker,Vanessa Morley, who turned out to be the reporter who was interviewing him the late Elizabeth Carter telling him what a swell guy he was back then. That's until he stole his dad's cherished autographed baseball that lead to his having a fatal heart attack!
****SPOILERS***Trying to make up for his past Sean meets his what looks like bag-lady mom Jessica, Marilyn Norry, waiting for a bus to take her to the nearest welfare office and tries to return the baseball that he stole and sold from her husband to make up for what he did. Only to have her dump it in the nearest sewer together with any good feeling that she ever had for him. Seeing the wrongs he did and the people that he hurt Sean is now back in 1988 from the present of 2002 and given a second chance to even the score and not repeat the mistakes that he made that turned him into the greedy and unfeeling person that he was to become. And it's there in 1988 that his mom & dad as well as Bess are waiting to greet him.
