It begins with a friendly game of darts between Sid and Vic.
Sid is ace with the arrows and Vic is hopeless. However when neighbouring bigwig farmer Jack Barclay turns up in the pub.
Things get competitive between Sid and Barclay. Tired of being labelled city slickers, Sid bets Barclay that he can hold his drink.
The next morning Sid discovers that he owes Barclay £20 after losing several wagers.
Sid decides to cheat his way into some money, such as playing cards with the policeman. Only to find that the policeman has cheated Sid.
Then Sid goes for a double or nothing bet on who has the cow yielding the creamiest milk.
It seems Sid and Vic never learn about taking on the locals with their sly stunts. Fanny the cow seems to be the most intelligent one in that farm.
