The Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk helicopter is incorrectly referred to as the CH-47 Seahawk. The Boeing-Vertol CH-47 Chinook heavy lift helicopter is not used by the US Navy and therefore cannot be the helicopter in question. It is possible, however unlikely, that the writers intended to refer to the Boeing-Vertol CH-46 Sea Knight from which the CH-47 was developed.
During the flight, we see a shot of the plane in the air with the caption "Checker Pass Vector - Jet Route 151, Rapid City, South Dakota." The plane is flying over very tall mountains that look like the Rockies or the Cascades. There are hills in South Dakota, but no mountains this big.
