I love the series The West Wing. I have watched it numerous times. Yet, this episode, The Portland Trip is just monotonous. One of the things I don't appreciate is the filler that the writers often used where it appears nobody is ever listening to each other, even to the president (!) and everybody says "sorry" so it can be repeated, yet that horrible technique is favorable to this entire episode. I have watched the entire series probably about 6 times yet this episode and most parts of Season One where the character Mandy were on screen, I have to make myself watch or skip entirely. I usually always pick the latter.
