No rest, even on the day of rest.

Howard is truly having the worst possible week, Cassie has kidnapped Mel, and is demanding that Howard marries her within the hour, failing that, she'll throw Mel into a quarry.

It really is a forgotten gem of a show, it's so funny, it was good that the show continued beyond its original run, there was definitely more mileage.

It's a very funny episode, it's definitely a little crass at times, a little brash perhaps, but it just works, Angela provides several laughs as she begins to see the failings in her own marriage, as does the grumpy Vicar.

The showdown scene is so funny, I'm not sure a gluten free diet would help in that case.

Despite featuring the likes of Ben Miller, Alison Steadman and Geoffrey Whitehead, it's Raquel Cassidy who steals it, crazy Cassie was hilarious, she definitely got wilder as the series went on.

8/10.

Howard's week could not get any worse. Cassie comes to the church as the bride and then kidnaps Mel.

The police are of no help. Mel's dad is reluctant to even let Howard borrow his car.

Demented Cassie demands that Howard brings a vicar with him and marries them both or else Mel gets it.

The farcical series reaches a surprisingly sweet conclusion but not before some hair raising moments where you think it might just go off a cliff.
