Michael Steadman : Honey, have you seen my notes? Oh, I don't believe this. Where did I put these notes? Was this decaf I just drank?

Hope Murdoch Steadman : Do you think I've been up for 2 hours and 42 minutes on decaf?
Cooper : So, I see you got all your school supplies.

Hope Murdoch Steadman : Yeah. That's exactly what I feel like. I feel like I've been sick for two weeks and everybody learned long division while I was out.

[indicating the computer monitor that was rolled in]

Hope Murdoch Steadman : What's that?

Cooper : Long division. We're computerized now.

Hope Murdoch Steadman : In ten months? You think they have any typewriters left? I think I've lost too many brain cells to learn a computer now.
Hope Murdoch Steadman : [arriving home] Amy! Hi! Janey?

Amy : We're in here. She loves Van Morrison.

Hope Murdoch Steadman : Do you want to dance, munchkin? Do you want to dance with Mommy? Yeah. Okay honey, it's you and me.

Van Morrison : [playing while Hope dances with Janey and they move into the sun room] ... Sail right round all the seven oceans... drop it straight into the deep blue sea... she's as sweet as Tupelo honey... she's an angel of the first degree... she's as sweet, she's as sweet as Tupelo honey... just like honey, baby... from the bee.
