In the closing scene when Riley plays the cello, the
cello-sound heard doesn't match what Riley plays.
They say it's Florida state penitentiary however it's actually mira-loma which is in Lancaster CA.
When Morgan and Elle are at the Sheffields' house and the camera changes to a view of the boy in the backseat of the car, a crew member can be seen moving through the back window of the car,
This show is based at a state prison in Bradford County, Florida just outside of Starke. This area of Florida is about 138 feet above sea level; however as the team is driving to the prison in the opening scenes, a very large mountain range can be seen in the distance through the windows of the SUV. The Bradford County area is rather lush and green due to the abundance of fresh spring waters, the area around the prison has cattle fields, wooded areas as well; however as the SUV is driving into the prison, not only is the mountain range in clear view, but tumbleweeds are blowing across the road from a field with dead, brown grass.
The town of Keystone Heights is within the appropriate driving distance from the prison for the time line to work. However, it's a small rural area, and houses like the one shown simply don't exist there. The closest town that would have a house that style is Fleming Island, another hour or more north east of the prison.
The reporter outside the prison states that the BAU team are conducting "deathbed" interviews. She should have said death row interviews.
The agents alternate between calling the woman they are profiling "Sarah Jean" and "Sarah Jane."
When they are in the work shed, Morgan says the killer tortured his victims on a band saw. When he says that, an image of a table saw is shown, not a band saw.
