The Journey (#3.17)

Warning: Spoilers
It is Ryan's 18th birthday. the Cohens are throwing him a party. And he can't decide if he should invite Marissa or not, he decides not to. And Sadie later ends up coming to his birthday. Sandy goes to bring his mother who is in jail but she ends up not coming. Summer tells Julie she knows about the dating and Julie and Dr. Roberts go on a cruise.

Not a bad episode. Was nice to see both Marissa and Ryan make their decision of further separation. And it was pretty crazy how Marrissa passed out in that house.

Well I guess without wanting it herself Summer contributed to her dad proposal to Julie, not that I am sure it will happen but it looks like it.

Ryan turns legal!

Warning: Spoilers
Ryan thinks about not inviting Marissa to his 18th birthday after their falling out but Sandy tries to get him to invite a relative. After months of avoiding telling their daughters the truth Neil and Julie tell Summer and Marissa the truth.

Marissa is already acting the way she always does when she's not with Ryan. But even if, I think the problem with Ryan's birthday is no problem at all, even if Ryan and Marissa broke up forever, they should at least be friends after all this time. So yeah... he definitely should invite her to his birthday.

Ryan is moving on with Sadie and Marissa is moving on with (surprise, surprise!) Volchok.
