Demon Slayer's Sabito Ruined the Final Selection and Here's Why - Main Image
Sabito was one of the former water hashira's most promising students, with superior battle strength and intellect over other aspirants. He might be highly skilled, but Sabito ruined the purpose of the Final Selection in Demon Slayer.
Joining the Demon Slayer Corps requires a great deal of courage, effort, dedication, and hard work. It's not easy to do since one minute someone is a human and the next they're demon food.
That is why the Demon Slayer Corps organized the Final Selection, which will test the hopefuls to their limit.
How Did Sabito Ruin the Final Selection in Demon Slayer?

Zenitsu and Inosuke did not travel to the Swordsmith Village with Tanjiro, so fans missed out on the goofy trio’s ramblings. Season 3 of Demon Slayer focused on other characters like the Mist and Love Hashira. The presence of Tanjiro’s friends would have overcrowded the season with no development of Zenitsu and Inosuke.
Thus, it was best to keep them aside for narrative reasons. Season 4 of Demon Slayer has already begun airing, and fans will soon notice that there is a lack of another integral character.

The job of a voice actor, particularly in the anime world, is not easy. They have to go through every emotion and portray it exactly like the characters in the series. This was experienced by Natsuki Hanae, the voice actor for Tanjiro Kamado in one of the most popular anime and manga series, Demon Slayer.
Demon Slayer Mugen Train
Hanae has voiced a lot of characters in the anime industry, like Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, Korai Hoshiumi in Haikyu!!, Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas, Gremmy Thoumeaux in Bleach, etc. But he has earned the most recognition because of his portrayal of Tanjiro, as it is probably his best performance as of yet.

Inosuke Hashibira from Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer is known for his arrogant yet comedic behavior. He is one of the main characters in the series and has grown considerably since he joined forces with Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Zenitsu. However, growth is not limited to physical strength and abilities.
Inosuke from Demon Slayer
When Inosuke was introduced in the series, he was hellbent on killing every demon in the world and always expressed anger, even at his allies. However, staying around Tanjiro helped him get a little control over his feelings. This was seen when Demon Slayer fans saw Inosuke cry for the first time during Demon Slayer: The Movie: Mugen Train.

Demon Slayer has been grabbing everyone’s attention through its fascinating animation. There has been no slowing down from Koyoharu Gotouge’s magnum opus. As the seasons progressed, the animation got better, and its popularity also increased. Ufotable did a great job with the animation, and fans are expecting more from them in the next season, which will take it one step toward the end.
While Ufotable has revolutionized the Japanese animation industry, Mappa seems to have done the opposite. The Mappa controversy was a massive issue in late 2023. The animation studio pressurized their employees to work for longer. With such problems, the animation should pay attention to what Demon Slayer producer had to say regarding the condition of animators.

After becoming renowned in the manga world, Mangaka Koyoharu Gotouge sensei’s Demon Slayer went on to conquer the anime world as well through its anime adaptation of the same name. And while the fan-favorite masterpiece story still holds an edge in both industries among other superhit and widely acclaimed projects, One Piece remains one of its strongest competitors in both.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
That being said, there is one thing that gives a further edge to Kimetsu no Yaiba over Eiichiro Oda sensei’s storyline. But this one thing isn’t related to the stories of the sagas, but rather, the animated versions of them, in which Gotouge sensei’s story seems to have effortlessly passed its opponent, thanks to all the new techniques used to efficiently transform the anime into its best version.

Among the several new-generation anime-manga series, the easiest and simplest storyline that can be followed and enjoyed belongs to Demon Slayer. One of the reasons for the series’ popularity all around the globe is its relatable characters, breath-taking animation by Uftoable, and easy-to-follow plot with no complicated power systems.

Kentaro Miura’s Berserk is one of the top dark fantasy anime/manga to date, and Gut’s Dragon Slayer sword is featured in every image of the franchise. It has now become almost like a trademark for the protagonist to slug around the huge slab of iron.
However, it is because of the sword’s massive size that Guts can use it to slay the apostles of God. Every fallen apostle adds to the sword’s strength, making it more and more effective every kill. Let’s say that Dragon Slayer is no less popular than Guts himself.
So, indeed it should be surprising for Berserk fans to know that Miura might not like Gut’s sword as much as everyone else.

Musical episodes of TV shows weren’t invented by Buffy the Vampire Slayer, nor by Xena: Warrior Princess either. But it was Xena that came up with a way of doing musical episodes that was incredibly effective, and Buffy that perfected it, producing a musical that has been a touchstone for TV ever since.
Some TV shows are designed to be a musical every week, of course, from Glee to Schmigadoon! to Flight of the Conchords. But there is also a fairly long-standing tradition of non-musical shows including musical episodes from time to time.
It might seem like having characters who do not normally sing randomly burst into song would be restricted to science fiction and fantasy, in which an invented reason can be provided for the singing, but plenty of non-sci fi and fantasy shows have done musicals either by making the whole thing take place inside someone’s...

Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the show titled after her are both cultural icons. Buffy is one of those series that most sci-fi, fantasy, and horror fans have some kind of awareness of even if they have never watched an episode. It kick-started the careers of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers, Alyson Hannigan as Willow Rosenberg, and David Boreanaz as Angel.
The series was also stuffed to the brim with memorable moments, from the hilarious (Buffy trying to mime staking a vampire in “Hush”), to the kick-ass (Buffy taking out the Judge with a rocket launcher in “Innocence”), to the gut-wrenching (Buffy finding Joyce in “The Body”). But there is one moment that stands out above all the others and embodies what the show is about.

There were several big names, including Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, One Piece, Oshi no Ko, etc. After the award ceremony went live, fans saw Jujutsu Kaisen sweep away almost all the awards with eleven wins.
Every alternate category had Jujutsu Kaisen as its winner. Even though the awards are given based on a voting system, there were a few results that the fans were not expecting. Few expected Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village arc to win the Best Animation Award. Several other candidates were favorites to win. Demon Slayer came out to be a shocker for them.

Demon Slayer is doing a pretty good job with the anime. The Hashira Training arc is dominating the box office, with season 4 going to be premiering soon. The fans were eagerly waiting for the anime’s return, especially after Nezuko returned to his human self. But amidst such great developments, Kimetsu Gakuen, the Demon Slayer spin-off manga, is ending soon.
Kimetsu Gakuen is a great spin-off, considering how it featured all the crucial characters in a comic sense. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – the manga ended almost four years ago, on May 18, 2020. Since then, fans have been eager to see the anime adaptation. But before they can have their wish fulfilled, the spin-off manga is also on its last stretch, with the final chapter scheduled for March 4, 2024.

Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okktosu are in a continuing battle against the King of Curses Sukuna and this fight has elevated the excitement of fans for the conclusion of Gege Akutami’s series. Also, it has positively shown the tremendous growth both characters have achieved since the start of the series.
Yuji and Yuta Fighting Sukuna
Not only are they fighting against the most powerful villain in the series, but they are also dominating the fight which was unexpected after seeing almost every character being killed at the hands of Sukuna. The new moves and abilities that Yuji learned before the Culling games arc began are surely coming in handy right now.
Among these techniques that Yuji learned, the most surprising one that was recently shown in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 251 was the blood manipulation technique which is an inherited technique within the Kamo family. However, the Blood manipulation technique that...

Landing on a superhero role was very different for Dakota Johnson. Still, the actor was roped in to play Cassandra Webb, bringing her character to the big screen. For Johnson, Madame Web was a project that appeared on her plate quite unexpectedly, but despite some hesitation, she joined director S.J. Clarkson in the adventure.

Madame Web was one of the most anticipated movies of 2024. There were a lot of expectations from the movie, especially after knowing that it might be connected to Spider-Man’s timeline. But after the first day, the film received a mediocre response from the audience, something which was reflected in the box office results of the movie as well.
On the other hand, Demon Slayer: The Roar of Victory came out two weeks before Madame Web and has been doing a great job at the box office. Even though both of them follow different genres, it is fair to say that Tanjiro and his friends have surpassed Dakota Johnson’s first titular role as a superhero. In simpler words, Madame Web is lagging behind The Roar of Victory.

Not many movies scare me anymore. Jane Schoenbrun’s I Saw the TV Glow is one of them. It reduced me to a child, and brought me back to a dream I had of being strapped to a chair and forced to watch something with some unknowable power that is at once intoxicating and terrifying.
I Saw the TV Glow is Schoenbrun’s sophomore film after the micro-budget, experimental critical favorite We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. It is extremely slow, largely abstract, and entirely up to the viewer’s interpretation. With audiences and horror fans, it was controversial, and it seemed like your enjoyment of the film was equivalent to how much you put into it. It premiered at the online 2021 Sundance Film Festival in the Next category (a usually niche category that celebrates more experimental films), and was released in a very small theatrical run, followed by...

Kerry King just unveiled full details of his eponymous solo project, including the band lineup, the debut album, and the first single. At the same time, the guitarist also gave a brutally honest interview to Rolling Stone, declaring that fellow Slayer founder Dave Lombardo “is dead to me.”
When asked if he’s spoken with the drummer since Slayer fired him in 2013, King bluntly stated, “No. Lombardo is dead to me.” He went on to bring up the financial squabble that led to Lombardo’s sacking from the legendary thrash band.
“He went on that tirade when we were on a flight to Australia, and he knew we couldn’t retort for 14 hours, and he threw me under the bus,” said King. “I was the only one keeping him in the band. Tom [Araya] wanted him out before that, and [the late] Jeff [Hanneman] had just gotten the spider bite, so he wasn’t playing with us much.

Kerry King has announced his debut solo album, From Hell I Rise, arriving May 17th, along with the lead single “Idle Hands.” The guitarist has also unveiled the members of his post-Slayer band.
The official announcement comes years after King symbolically left his iconic chain onstage at the end of Slayer’s final concert in 2019 at The Forum in Los Angeles. At the time, King was quick to inform fans that he would be forming a new solo band to carry on the sound and ethos of Slayer — whose retirement King felt was “premature”.
“I knew early on that I wasn’t done,” remarked King in the press release for the album, “and I had no intention of not continuing to play.”

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 continued on January 26 with the fourth episode in RuPaul’s quest to find “America’s next drag superstar.” Following two non-elimination premiere episodes Part 1 and Part 2, the girls walked in the “The Mother of All Balls” in episode 3 where Hershii LiqCour-Jeté served the three looks that wowed her peers and the judges the least. Hershii lost the Lip Sync for Your Life to a surprised-to-be-ranked-at-the-bottom Geneva Karr. The winner of the week was Nymphia Wind who created a look from scratch that was declared as one of the best in series herstory.

In The Late Great, Primetimer staffers and contributors revisit shows that were cut short, but still cast a long shadow over the TV landscape.
Vampires never truly go out of style. Sure, they come and go as any trends do, but they always stick around for longer than their supernatural contemporaries. Unlike zombies or werewolves, there’s something flexible about the mythical bloodsucker, so easily moldable to fit the trends or concerns of any given time or context. Certainly, the vampires of TV have fit this role remarkably well over the decades, from the Gen X “us against the world” girl power of Buffy the Vampire Slayer to the sex-drenched queer soap opera of True Blood to crisis of faith amid small-town tensions in Midnight Mass. In 1998, a solid decade before sparkles took over the genre, a little-seen addition to the genre made vampires more political than ever.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" introduced a bevy of incredible characters, but not all of them got the same amount of love and attention. Some characters, like Spike (James Marsters), were supposed to be killed off instantly but stayed on the show because the audience would have rioted if he died. Others, like Dawn (Michelle Trachtenberg), were absolutely instrumental to the narrative but totally hated by the show's fans.
Not only did "Buffy" buffs despise the Slayer's younger sister, but the writers also had trouble effectively working her into the show. Dawn was memorably introduced in season 5 under mystical circumstances but, in the final two seasons, she was left to her own devices as a regular teenage girl. The character re-introduced the coming-of-age themes at the show's high school roots, but her lack of powers and combat experience also made her far less exciting than most of the other characters.

Camden Toy, the versatile character actor famed for playing a succession of demonic monsters on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has died. He was 68.
Toy died Dec. 11, after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer, his representatives confirmed in a press release.
Often caked under layers of makeup as well as special prosthetics, Toy would be unrecognizable for many of his most well-known turns on Buffy and later Angel, playing one of the Gentleman, the Prince of Lies and the demon Gnarl among others, but his unmistakable physical acting would rank him and close friend Doug Jones as firm fan favorites.

Tori Amos and The Buggles’ Trevor Horn have teamed up for a cover of Kendrick Lamar’s 2012 single, “Swimming Pools (Drank),” reimagining it as a moody, modern piano ballad.
Amos and Horn’s take on the song arrives as the opening track on Horn’s new covers album, Echoes: Ancient & Modern. Built around a subdued piano and colored with silky strings, Amos’ multi-layered vocals lead the tune, placing Lamar’s lyricism in a new context. In the liner notes for the new album, Horn explained: “I thought of it as a kind of literate, modern American standard, a rap song open to reinterpretation. I wanted something distinctly 21st-century with original, eloquent lyrics, and my longtime engineer Tim Weidner suggested this.”
Continuing, Horn praised Amos’ creative contributions. “Tori Amos took the idea of adapting Kendrick Lamar’s psyched-up swagger in her stride and made it intensely cinematic,” he said. “I listened...

Kerry King has teased what appears to be a 2024 reveal of his long-awaited post-Slayer project.
The guitarist kept things vague, sharing an image of his iconic chain, which he wore for years while performing with Slayer, resting on what looks to be the floor of a stage. The caption reads: “Coming in 2024…”
The image is a callback to the symbolic moment when King removed his chain before lifting it and letting it fall to the stage floor at the end of Slayer’s final concert in 2019 at The Forum in Los Angeles.
“One of the reasons I did the chain drop at the last show was so everybody in the building could hear it,” King later told Dean Guitars in a 2020 interview. “And it wasn’t something I planned. We were doing the last run, and I said, ‘I wanna do this on the last Forum show so people take it more seriously.
