So she tells Ray and Debra that she's living with them until Frank apologizes to her. Frank, on the other hand, feels like a free man without Marie there to nag him. Not wanting his mother at his house forever, Ray tries to talk to his father about apologizing to Marie. Frank, of course, disagrees. When Ray returns to his own house, Marie begins mothering him and treating him like a child. Taking matters into her own hands, Debra heads across the street to talk to Frank and eventually convinces him to talk to Marie.
- Ray is babied again when his mother Marie, moves in with them after a fight with Frank. Marie says that Frank does move from in from in front of the TV and keeps hounding Marie for stuff every 5 minutes. He has done this for the last 45 years. Frank says that he asked for a Tuna salad, and he threw it in the garbage, as it had no celery in it. Without the celery, the sandwich had no bite. Frank calls Marie's sandwich a Tuna slop. Marie refuses to go back home and tells Frank to chop his own celery.
Marie criticizes Debra's work in the house, the way she folds the clothes, stains on the carpet, not ironing clothes on time etc. Ray pretends to be asleep most of time to avoid speaking to Marie. Frank meanwhile loves his independence. He discovers salsa on chips, rents the complete works of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Frank says that he can do what he wants, when he wants it and how ever he wants it. Frank has even taped the remote to himself, so he doesn't have to get up to change the channels on TV. Ray returns home and Debra is angry to know that Frank is having fun without Marie. Its like he has been paroled from the prison of marriage. Debra tries to talk to Marie, but she gives her "the look" and Debra has no option but to walk away.
Debra, however, upset about the idea of Marie moving in, decides to spend time with Frank. Frank and Debra have eggs with salsa sauce. Robert comes back home to find Marie with Ray and Debra with Frank. He doesn't know where he should go.
Debra gets a migraine as Frank changes the channels a lot. Frank wants Debra to serve him like Marie used to. Debra wants Frank to understand why Marie is not with him. She says that a woman wants acknowledgment and respect. She says that Frank doesn't even realize how much he needs Marie. Debra begs Frank to go over and apologize to Marie as Frank can be exhausting with his constant demands.
Meanwhile Marie takes care of the kids and bakes Pecan pies for Ray. Robert also comes over and she serves them chocolate milk and cereals with cold milk. Robert finds a prize in his cereal bowl, but Ray takes it saying that its house and so his bowl of cereal. Ray finds the prize to be a baking soda powered submarine and wants it for himself. Robert fights Ray for the prize and as a result, it is smashed to pieces. She babies Ray too much and Ray begs Marie to go and baby Frank.
