Pretty sweet movie

I have watched this movie twice now, and it is the kind of thing I would really like to see again. The plot has many clever twists and the acting is very good; the characters in the movie are complex yet feasible. The repetition of numerous scenes did get a bit long after awhile, but the fact that it revealed more of the movie and more of each character's personality each time was really clever and helped the plot. I liked the filming; there were a lot of clever angles involved. The music too was excellent, and so were the lighting and sound, especially considering it was made by an indie film company. By the end of the movie, I was hanging on every word and was truly in suspense to see how it would turn out. I enjoyed this movie because it is a love story, but it is also an intense psychological drama with some humor mixed in. I would definitely recommend watching "On Oak Island."

Surprises throughout. Much more than a boy meets girl film.

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this at the Asheville Film festival (really!) and had no idea of what I was going to see. On one level, it's an old-fashioned boy meets girl - boy loses girl - boy gets girl flick. But this is almost incidental.

A short film by today's standards (89 minutes), it held my attention throughout. Surprises occur throughout. A nice technique, and a very effective one was the replaying of many sections of the film, each time giving a little bit more information. It had a nice story line, with large doses of romance and betrayal. It is definitely worth checking out.

Warning: I went with a couple who said afterward that it had poor direction and poor acting. That's why we have horse races.
