Thrilling episode marred by one thing
Enrique-Sanchez-5619 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I was on pins and needles watching horrible abduction and the development of the boy's awareness of his dilemma. The acting was top-notch as was the direction.

What really disappointed me was the discovery of the insider's guilt. As truthful as it was, I wish it had not been a seemingly honest Hispanic character who was struggling with an impossible life situation. It's just my PC demon showing it's head again. I won't apologize for my view. It would have been better for all concerned if the image of Hispanics wasn't always used as a convenient scapegoat.

Jeff Perry -- AMAZING Actor!
arlomom11 May 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Watching Jeff Perry portray the psycho in this episode was chilling.

He INHABITED the skin of Kyle Everett!

Far too often I watch crime dramas where the actors aren't convincing. Especially actors portraying pedophiles.

But Perry's portrayal of the kindly but psychotic Everett was almost difficult to watch. He SOUNDED so normal...but what he was doing to Dr. Macy and the little boy were repugnant.

His character deserved what he got in the end.

An amazing actor! I'll be looking for more of his work! Looking over his biography, I see he's been in a lot of TV shows...and I guess I've missed them all! Bummer....

WHY ISN'T THIS MAN A MOVIE STAR?!
