One of these episodes was amazing, and the other was just good.

"Hall Monitor" SpongeBob is chosen to be hall monitor at boating school and sets out to catch the "maniac" running wild in Bikini Bottom. This episode is hilarious and very creative. The gag about Patrick's ice cream is the best. I also like during SpongeBob's speech when he repeatedly says "IN THE HALL!" 10/10

"Jellyfish Jam" This episode was kind of lame in parts, like when the jellyfish squirt jelly on Gary. But the rest of the episode is great, especially when Squidward is on. 8/10

Pure perfection. The first is basically a SB horror movie. The second is a pumping SB dance party.

I have been a big SpongeBob fan for a long time and Hall Monitor has always been my favorite episode of the entire show. I know most people would say it's Band Geeks or Chocolate with Nuts or The Camping Episode, but I think this episode is the best. It has a really funny plot with hilarious jokes that make the episode work. This is my favorite episode, and it's amazing.

Jellyfish Jam is also an amazing episode. Although there isn't much dialogue, the dance parts are great and there's good visual humor.

Overall this is an amazing episode pair of SpongeBob

Both of these episodes are really funny.

I used to hate Hall Monitor because it seemed to air on TV ALL THE TIME as a kid but re-watching it it really is a fantastic episode of SpongeBob.

Chaos in the (near) best way

Both episodes are highly entertaining, and far more random and surreal than most before it.

Hall monitor (9) Hall monitor is the absolute best that can be done with such a strange concept. Seeing Spongebob mess things up in the most outlandish ways possible using an otherwise mundane occurence is a blast and the dramatic irony employed in the episode's second half is hilarious. It's one of the season's strongest without a doubt.

Jellyfish jam (8) Jellyfish jam is a bit less funny, though that's an easy bar to fall under. The antics the jellyfish get up to are ridiculous yet highly enjoyable and the jokes come fast and hit hard, even if it loses its way by the ending.

These episodes are up there with the strongest in the season, making this one worth watching if you want to enjoy yourself immensely.

Hall Monitor was a little bit average, but once the plot got going it was absolutely hilarious. 4/5

Jellyfish Jam is also a little bit average at first, but once it got to jammin with Gary, it elevated the episode. I feel like I can't stop saying charm with this tv series, but it was a charming ending.

I know that "Jellyfish Jam" is really loved by fans for its music and I do love this music myself, but sadly the episode is a bit... boring? I mean, nothing really happens for most of the story. Instead it has some visually and sonically remarkable parts. It's cool to watch on YouTube separately, but in the episode itself it feels like a way to fill the 11 minute episode with content. But the episode is still fine, Bob and Squid's interaction is hilarious as always and the story has some... moral.

"Hall Monitor" isn't my favourite episode as well. It has many funny gags, I really loved how cops laughed at Patrick, I love how Bob and Patrick bought some ice cream twice in a row and etc. Basically, it's Patrick who carries the episode (surprisingly), but SpongeBob is a bit annoying. Also that's the first time Mrs Puff goes to jail and I think this was really exploited by future seasons too much. For me the episode itself feels a bit too forced, but it really atones for it with some awesome gags. It truly is classics.

Jellyfish jam- 4/10 Meh boring great songs tho a very boring episode that is not funny at all and very boring Hall monitor- 8/10 A very funny good episode overall and funny and funny sad it gets rip off's.in multiple episode (like in patrick man)but two episodes are nothing to write home about jelly fish jam ways it down a ton but overall meh. Jellyfish jam is boring and not really funny but hall moister Is a super famous everybody loves but I do not care for Jellyfish jam or any Jellyfish episode plus "the thing the would not leave " trope is super annoying and annoying most of the time.meh episode.

No I'm not making it up for jokes or something. This is not a good episode. Spongebob is stupider that ever(even in season 1 standers) He causes carnage around people that were supposed to find funny, and worst of all this is the first episode where mrs.puff gets arrested for doing nothing wrong. She just needed the hall monitor for the day and spongebob ruined it. I'll never understand why people like this episode. It's terrible. Why is it so loved with 8/10. It makes no sense. Terrible 3/10. Jellyfish jam is fine. Not really bad, but not good at all. The songs is why people like this. So 6/10.
