Surprising great!

Recently, I've been binge watching this nostalgic show and this episode was full of creativity. The few previous episodes before this had creative energy like an episode on the most experienced imaginary friend and 2005's take on Hollywood success. However, this episode completely blew me away.

First the episode starts off with Coco's wild personality showing that this episode is more focused on Coco's endeavors. The episodes before this second finale has mentioned money supporting the household but, never anything about donations. I believe that adding the idea of benefactors supporting a non-profit foster home was clever because the idea adds a little grandeur and a sense of adults caring for a charming home.

Then the second pollen follows, Mac and Bloo explore sarcasm. I remember a few different cartoons airing then that touched on sarcasm but this episode teaches kids how useful sarcasm is to use. The first lesson was on Eduardo's cookie and the point was made that sarcasm has a rhythm to its speech. Then, sarcasm can be used as simple backhanded compliments. These lessons were edited in between Coco's etiquette lessons. The episode didn't have to link them together but they worked perfectly. Cliché cartoon episodes teach kids on simple lessons on friendship and love but, this episode on the importance of speech was truly creative and cleverly done.

The climatic ending looms and the plot is heightened by adding a gala to which the episode didn't have to do. Making the gala and game event heightened the plot further. Mac's focus on the game was refreshing to see in a character who always used as the show's logic placeholder. Finally finding out that the benefactor was actually a fake and flawed was comedic and done well by showing hints like finding Coco a charming lady and turning a gala into a game event. The final half minute of the show had the boys finally getting the jet cars and Mr.Harriman ends the episode with a sarcastic joke. His joke made a good point and ending that sarcasm is fun but can be confusing for the receiver.

Positive points:

*Mac calls on a adult's help on sarcasm before teaching Bloo.

*The benefactor asking the logic behind imaginary friends.

*The joke where the attendees all went to a night in jail for trespassing was hilarious.

*Mr.Harriman and Coco is a surprisingly cute couple.

*Not explaining how the fake benefactor got into the mansion and convinced rich people to train a year's worth of Simon Says.

*The final game to be a jousting competition with jet cars.

*Coco on the harmonica and tuba

Negative points:

*I thought the devil sticks routine would make a payoff in the episode.

*The etiquette lessons were a bit cliché but the speech lesson was fun.

*The motives behind Coco's wild personality seems to be implied simply because she's a imaginary friend with random features. Explaining Coco's personality might take longer than the episode but, Coco doesn't seem to have a clear motive for anything. It seems like she might have went to the gala and done the games for the home's sake or to not let Mr.Harriman down. Either case, Coco's etiquette lessons fell flat and showed the lessons were a mere showcase of cliché comedy jokes.

Favorite lines:

"Isn't every imaginary friend invisible but to the kid who created it?" -Benjamin Edward Factor the Third

"Now, we're going to teach you etiquette and diction and manners." -Mr.Harriman

"You're totally messing with us, are you?" - Mac

"The sleet in crete stays neatly in the street."/"Could the sleet in crete be anymore neatly in the street?" -Mr.Harriman/Mac and Bloo

"Why would you go out of your way to show me something that stinks" "I don't know." - Bloo and Mac

"Can I be anymore sarcastic?" -Mr.Harriman
