Not all that interesting to me...but still important.

"Do You Mean There Are Still Real Cowboys?" is a most unusual early episode of "The American Experience". It is set in modern rural Wyoming and shows the life of cowboys and ranchers. It's narrated by Glenn Close and follows the lives of these folks through their day to day activities. While this is an important topic, as it is an important part of our history and culture, it's also a bit dull. After all, these are NOT the Hollywood-type cowboys. Such people never really existed and the day to day activities of ranchers is, well, very mundane. Not bad...just mundane. Overall, a not particularly 'cool' show but one that helps us remember and appreciate these folks.
