A movie about darkness
love_arvind15 February 2007
This film I had by mistake rented on DVD for a Telugu movie Arya and watched it.

I don't know why producers make such a kind of film. This film had nothing except dark images.

Arya, which means noble person in Sanskrit, intertwines the fictional story of Desi American characters, Raj and Shawna with the true-life story of a famous Indian mathematician from 499 AD who is named Aryabhata.

Cheap film, bad camera work, bad direction. The only thing I liked was the performance of Manvi Dhoopar. Highly disappointed.Producers of such film shouldn't waste their money and instead take experience crew.

Unprofessional and amateurish - Bad Direction.

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this film after someone sent me an email asking me to join their group. They basically sent me numerous emails about how good it was.

I thought I'd check it out and turns out it was a total waste of my time. The direction was horrible and the picture was so dark, it's like they didn't use lights at all. Wow, I can't believe a film like this got distribution. The story would have been good if the execution was done well. There is a lot more to our mathematician this the way this film portrays. There were couple of scenes in the film that were not necessary at all. Looks like they were put in there just to make the film length.

I don't recommend this to anyone. There are far better movies out there then this.
