The new diesel engines are in, Arnold is struggling to get used to them, placing his job in jeopardy, Ethel begins a campaign to petition for his job. May fears that she may be pregnant, and Wilfred wants to join the Mods.
It's a great snapshot into life in the sixties, despite being a comedy it did capture the spirit of the decade, diesel engines, the mods.
A nice seen between Jack and May, despite her fling with Parkin, she did seem to care a great deal for Jack, and in a way, her about him. A great episode for both. Nice also that the engine drivers have had more involvement in this series.
Favourite line, it's like that film, Lassie come home. Absolutely brilliant, so funny.
It's a very good episode. 8/10
