As Nat King Cole once sang, “Everybody knows a piglet and a space heater, help to make the season bright” … oh wait. Those aren’t the lyrics, you say? Well, don’t tell Stella Max the pig that.
Turns out Stella is actually a big fan of the Michael Bublé version of “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire),” and she’s an even bigger fan of this Crane Fireplace Heater, which just so happens to be an Amazon Choice product for $79.99 this holiday season.
We realize this sweet little piggy is shilling for the company, but honestly,...

Celebrities gave good tweet this Christmas, sharing everything from parental holiday criticisms to the surprising gifts Santa stashed underneath their trees. Rebel Wilson's Christmas morning came with a not-so-subtle scent suggestion that we hope she doesn't take too personally. Meanwhile, Olivia Munn tried her best to work off those holiday sweets, but instead shared a snap of her hilarious fail. Check out all that and more in our favorite funny tweets from the week! Thanks Santa for the deodorant x — Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) December 25, 2013 We'll take that as a hint that Rebel has been naughty. Came to the gym to workout, but lounging felt so much better. Big shout out to all the other lazy people out there! pic.twitter.com/JvXSm4fGpg — oliviamunn (@oliviamunn) December 26, 2013 Olivia's road to health is paved with good intentions. The Wolf of Wall Street really made me want to try qualudes. — Seth Rogen (@Sethrogen) December 26, 2013 Just say no,...

The holidays are here, which probably means you’ll be spending more time with parents, grandparents, siblings, young offspring, and that uncle who spends all his time next to the eggnog. While it’s great to see family members more often, it also means you have to entertain them. Here’s a list of games that the whole family can play together, and hopefully make the holidays a little more cheerful.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes (Multi-Platform – Max Players: 2)
The Lego franchise really shines when played cooperatively, and in the latest and arguable best rendition of the running Lego video game franchise, each family member will be able to choose from a massive selection of Marvel superheroes and villains. Almost every character from the Marvel universe is unlockable, from the likes of Mr. Fantastic and The Hulk to Juggernaut and the Punisher. You’ll fight bosses cooperatively across a wide spectrum...

The holidays tend to be a stressful time, but this episode of Happy Endings Season 3 made thing all the more merry! In "No-Ho-Ho," the group found out that Jane's been lying about her birthday all of these years.
Thanks to a very tolerant waiter who pointed out Jane's ID was a fake, she had to reveal one of her darkest secrets. Yes, Jane is a Christmas baby.
I completely understand how a little kid wouldn't want to be born on December 25. You only get half the gifts and your friends are never around to celebrate! My niece was born two days before Christmas and for years she had a separate party over the summer with all of her pals. Even though Jane got momentarily sad when everyone tried to celebrate her birthday on Christmas and pretty much failed, she had an awakening.

In what may be my new favorite thing, Venture Brothers has released their annual Christmas carol, which you can listen/download here. The song of the year is "Baby It's Cold Outside" as sung by the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend, and it's just as twisted and Nsfw as you would imagine.
In Michigan, Republican Gov. Rick Snyder signed HB4770, which prohibits public employers from providing partner benefits to unmarried partners, effectively excluding gay partners from health care. Happy Holidays!
Betty White is set to host Monday Night Football for the Christmas edition this week. It seems only fair since a couple of years ago being tackled in a Snickers commercial took her career from steady to red hot.
Steve Jobs will be awarded a posthumous Grammy for "significant contributions to music." This amuses me since just a few years ago the industry was screaming that he was destroying the entire music industry.

A while back, I did a q&a with filmmaker James C. Ferguson's whose Woody Allenish comedy-drama Happy Holidays, co-written by Ferguson and Tom Misuraca, centers on the dysfunctional friendship of three school friends reunited at their Connecticut hometown right before Christmas. One man (Paul Hungerford) is a gay guy at odds with his father; another (Thomas Rhoads) is a cheating husband (and devout Catholic) in town for his father's funeral; and a third (John B. Crye) has just converted to Judaism so as to match the faith of the latest woman in his life. Ferguson has some news about Happy Holidays. Some of it can be found below. More details can be found on the film's Facebook page. Happy Holidays now has a commentary track, split up into chapters, on its YouTube page. New Happy Holidays trailer can be watched here. Los Angeles screening on Dec. 2 at Theatre...
