But one powerful legal organization in the U.S. is against city surveillance despite its proven value. I visited their national web site to find out why. They say it is not reducing crime anywhere. How do they measure that accurately? It's not possible to know the actual math. The idiots at the ACLU say that it is only catching petty crime on camera anywhere it is used, not violent crime. Which I know is a lie by watching this program. They also say it does nothing to prevent terrorism. They say the authorities will misuse them. And for those reasons, the ACLU says they should be banned.
