A curious film editing short
mundocbrm3 April 2017
This title was a short publicity film (for Meubles Lévitan) of less than two minutes, directed in 1931 by what later would be known like famous writer, Jean Aurenche. For this short it counted with the collaboration of later director Paul Grimault, in his first work of animation by the technique of Stop motion. In 1988, Grimault made an animated short, in color, merging it with the old black and white images of the old Aurenche film, with which the short film will begin. In turn, the short is included in "The Rolling Table" (1988), compilation of shorts of Jacques Demy and Paul Grimault.
