Chimps Ahoy is cute. Ghost Host had to have traumatized so many children.

Warning: Spoilers
First off, Chimps Ahoy is decent. It's a little confusing because Sandy starts talking about her bosses who are chimps and how if they don't like anything she's invented she'll have to leave Bikini Bottom. There's no explanation beyond this and it's very bizarre. We've never heard of bosses before and why would she be forced to leave her own home in Bikini Bottom. Why is she inventing for these chimps? Just a weird plot. They're all sophisticated English chimps and the scene with the terrible invention Spongebob comes up with is pretty funny.

Ghost Host is shockingly terrifying for a Spongebob episode. The Flying Dutchman comes to haunt Spongebob and even if Sponge might get used to it, we don't. You don't have to be a kid to be terrified by seeing a giant spongebob head have its eyes leave their sockets like slugs slithering only to reveal a FAMILY OF SPIDERS CRAWLING OUT. SpongeBerg Cronenpants.

Jesus. When did Spongebob get so dark? I gotta say it's disturbing enough that I kinda liked it but I'm 30. Seeing this a kid, I would've been scarred. Spongebob has gone over the line in the past in terms of weird/scary stuff but this was beyond anything I've seen.

Also, and I hate this part, squidward HAS MET THE FLYING DUTCHMAN IN SHANGHAIED!! So how is he going to say "I don't believe in ghosts"

HE KNOWS ONE.
