Trivia:
Actors Ricardo Mamood and Hardia Madden Jr. (playing Orange Mask and Blue Mask Robbers respectively) almost got shot by real cops during the shooting of the hold-up scene at the diner. Mamood and Madden were just about to start the scene, storming into the diner from the street, when a patrol car showed up around the corner and saw what it looked like two masked criminals holding guns ready to kick the diner's door in (and since no member of the crew was outside the premises neither there was any indication that a film was being shot - it was essentially an interior shot with the two guys coming in from the street), Ricardo Mamood and Hardia Madden were also taken by surprised since they thought Jeff Marchelletta and Charles Kim (actors who played LAPD cops in the film and had a patrol car as well) were just pulling over. The real cops jumped out of the car and pulled their guns out, one over the hood of the car and the other taking cover behind the car's passenger door, pointing and screaming at Mamood and Madden to drop the guns and put their hands up. Mamood slowly dropped the gun to the floor and as he looked up he saw Madden with his hands up but still holding the gun. At that point, Jeff Markey, the director, stormed out from the diner, among other crew members, screaming at the cops "Don't shoot! Don't shoot! It's a movie, don't shoot!" After all tension subsided the cops said there one micron away to shooting the guys down. The cops left and they resumed filming with an extra dose of adrenaline. moreFAQ

I saw this short film on MySpace which is linked to here. I'm in entertainment so I'm always looking around. You run across all sorts of stuff - a lot of junk too - but not this one. The trivia story here is funny. That really happen??
Great little film. Excellent and tight script. Compelling story; heart-felt, funny, dark, sad and real. Very well acted and directed all around. I see why it's getting hit and such rave reviews on MySpace. The lead actors did a very good job. I believed them and they touched me. The bridge scene is very cool and funny and somehow different. It's a winner.
