A wonderful story of a young woman coming to terms with her life in small town Idaho
bscschmid4 May 2007
True to heart stories of 'real' people always seem to get me, and this one is told with such truth and humor that you may easily find yourself smiling as you watch even as your eyes may be swelling up with tears. Similar in tone and style as one of my favorite recent movies of all time -- You Can Count On Me -- the characters in First Aid For Choking quickly draw you in with honest dialogue and a depth of character that is often missing from modern dramas. If you don't mind the occasional expletive, if you've ever just jumped in your car wanting to drive somewhere different, and if you've ever thought about how much you can't stand your family until you remember how much you love them -- you will enjoy this wonderful film.
