. . . but it takes about a quart or two of Looney Tunes snippets to make this 10-minute Warner Bros. documentary short, FINE TOONING, somewhat palatable. From I LOVE TO SINGA early on to RABBIT OF SEVILLE as a grand finale, everybody from a phalanx of male WB vice-presidents to a lowly female dust-buster chime in here on Warner's commitment to spiffing up its thousand-plus Golden Age Looney Tunes for DVD release. (Since this piece was produced 11 years prior to the 2016 American Presidential Campaign, no mention is made about whether there are off-shore bunkers in which the restored Looney Tunes are protected in Faraday Cages. Perhaps that's for the best. If and when the Real Life POTUS nominee based upon Elmer Fudd crashes the Oval Office--most likely by way of military coup--he'll surely ban all Looney Tunes, with Jack-booted government Brown Shirt thugs confiscating any VHS Tapes, DVDs, and BluRays not already voluntarily burned in community Bon Fires. By concealing the locations of its off-shore archival Looney Tunes bunkers, Warner is doing the best it can to preserve this World Heritage Collection from Donald Fudd's nukes!)
