well the whole story of it is Lisa is looking for people to talk about at her show and tell and she chooses Moe after he becomes upset after homer forgot to go on Moes birthday fishing trip.Lisa finds notes in his pockets which she finds moving and profound. So she pieces the notes together to make a great poem.Lisa sends it to a poetry magazine and it gets front cover. So,Moe,Lisa and the Simpsons go to a book festival and Moe betrays Lisa by saying he did everything himself!Lisa feels very betrayed and comes out with sad and hilarious results!!!I really thought this was genuinely hilarious and touching!it had some really great jokes and moments of betrayal. It think its the best episode of the season.I really enjoyed it!

Great episode. Can't help but thinking what really was in the written letter. The content is just the same as what homer reads, except for the last line. That one is 'I guess happiness is just for' with the next line cut away by the edge. Yet, Homer says something totally else. This episode is one of my favourites, certainly if you only consider those of season 18. It's very emotional, or at least, for me it is. The moment Lisa thinks of interviewing Moe almost made me drop a tear. Maybe, when I'm older, I won't appreciate the third-age jokes in the simpsons, but for now, I lóve them, and the grim-reaper vs Abe Simpson is one of the best they've ever made. That's one of the reasons that I love this episode.

Predictable episode

Warning: Spoilers
This episode follows the classic Moe story arc of him being sad and lonely, then being befriended and helped out only for him to betray them and then get exposed. Afterwards he apologizes and everything goes back to normal. Basically the same plot as "Flaming Moe's" or "Dumbbell Indemnity" but much worse than those. Homer and Bart getting defensive of Lisa was a touching moment however.
