First of all the release date is wrong, it aired September 8, 2006...I'll never forget because it was my 17th birthday and I was thrilled. It was really the best day ever lol...considering the day it aired.

This is one of the best yet, no matter what anyone else says, The song is great every time i hear it it gets stuck in my head all day. I hear other people singing it at places too, Remember it is a kids show so I don't see why you expect it to be like an academy award winning movie. For anyone who truly loves sponge-bob, you will love this one, It really is one of the top 10 on my list, I watch it over and over, most for the song. in fact i think I'm going to go watch it right now, i cant wait for more new ones, they should keep the great song thing going. I really enjoyed that. Well that is what I think about it hope this helps everyone.

Don't Expect "The Best Episode Ever"

When the movie came out, a catchy song about SpongeBob was written. It was called "The Best Day Ever." Three years later, the writers decided to write an episode loosely based on it. It started with an all-day marathon that showed SpongeBob episodes until 8:00 PM when this episode came out. In this episode, SpongeBob has plans to do for it to be "the best day ever", but his friends have problems and he begins to think his day is ruined when he helps people. The once catchy song is used about every other minute and becomes annoying. There aren't any jokes or that good of a plot.

The Gift is when it's "Best Friend's Day" and SpongeBob and Patrick have to get each other presents. SpongeBob gives Patrick an Artoo-like robot that talks and Patrick gives SpongeBob a giant, disgusting piece of gum. In the middle of the night, there's something creepy happening the gum and several people were eaten by it and soon it gets stuck everyone in Bikinni Bottom. This episode is just disturbing.

Best Day Ever, More Like Worst Episode Ever!

This god awful piece of junk is ONE of the worst Spongebob episode made, (Right next to Atlantis Sqaurepantis) and didn't deserve the full day marathon.

The plot is lagging, it just features Spongebob wanting to have the "Best Day Ever" and it is ruined by his friends asking him to do various tasks.

Quite boring, not funny what so ever, and it is more annoying than any other Spongebob episode out there! "The Best Day Ever" is a good song, but not when it is repeated 20 times or more! Please, if you really want Spongebob, watch season 1-3 and some of 4.

Both Episodes Are Bad

Best Day Ever involves Spongebob wanting to do something with his friends but they're all busy doing their things and Spongebob has no friends. Spongebob also sings that crappy song "Best Day Ever" which is annoying due to his shrill nasty voice, and its incredibly weak beat. The Gift Of Gum is even more horrible than the previous one. It involves Patrick giving Spongebob a giant ball of gum for Best Friends Day. The ball of gum has a sock, pizza, and other things which make me wanna throw up. The ball of gum gets all over Spongebob's hous e and we see Squidward and Sandy get stuck in the gum trying to remove it from Spongebob's house, and then the most nauseating thing happens. Patrick devours all the gum (it's called chewing gum, not devouring gum), and he becomes obese from it and then 5 seconds later he hiccups a bubble of gum lifting his super fat body in the air, and then the giant bubble gum bubble pops all over Bikini Bottom which has Patrick, Squidward, Spongebob and Sandy all covered in gum with Patrick saying "Wow, this is the best Best Friends Day Ever!!" Overall 1/10 or -100/10
