Taking on Ronald McDonald was one thing, now documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock is tackling another super-sized figure: Osama bin Laden. According to Variety, the Super Size Me director has already begun filming a secret project about the ongoing seach for the notorious Al Queda leader, who has eluded U.S. forces since masterminding the September 11th attacks. The Weinstein Company picked up North American rights to the film, while Optimum Releasing will distribute the film in the U.K. No word yet on the project's official title or when it's due for release. Spurlock is also developing the documentary The Republican War on Science, which takes a critical look at the government's handling of global warming, stem cell research, and AIDS education.
