Brooke experiences the splendors of everyday family life. She and Donna take care of Bridget who does not want to go to bed, yet. Downstairs, Ridge is in for the shock of his life: his presumed dead second wife is standing in front of him. He has a hard time accepting that it is not a dream and that she is indeed alive. Taylor tells Ridge how she was mugged in Casablanca one year ago and lost her memory. In her recount of her quest to come back to Ridge, Taylor leaves out the little tidbit of her marriage to Prince Omar, though. Taylor decides to give Ridge a break to digest the news and leaves. Macy breaks it to Thorne that she has been unsuccessful in tracing any leads to find Ivana's killer. He remains optimistic that his innocence will be proven during trial and encourages her to get out of L.A. in the meantime to avoid the press. Later, Connor arrives to inform Thorne that the prosecutor is apparently seeking the death penalty. He advises his shocked client to confess so that the crime can be classified as homicide. However, Thorne refuses to accept this chance to score a lesser sentence and maintains his innocence. After speaking to his lawyer, Thorne is locked in prison. His cell-mate Slash reveals to Thorne that he wants to escape soon.
