Robert is captured and sent to a Northern prison in New York, while Eveline waits anxiously for word of Robert and her brother Nelson.
The movies follows Robert and Nelson through many adventures and hard decisions. Robert finally escapes and goes to Eveline's grandfather's farm in Pennsylvania.
This is a universal story of love, war, decisions, choices, and how two people can bend the world to their will in order to be together. Every audience can find something to identify with and root for in this epic.
