- Overall there is little fanservice in this anime. Episode 13 has human nudity, and a few other episodes have topless female monsters.
Violence & Gore

- The entire series is about fighting monsters. Claymores go up against monsters -- and sometimes each other -- in nearly every episode, with plenty of maiming, dismemberment, beheading, and lots and lots of blood, both purple and red (and everyone has *extremely* high blood pressure). It's all very non-realistic gore, but it's still explicit.
Profanity

- Mild to strong language;D*mn, B*stard and B*tch are used for most of the episodes while strong language like F*** are used occassionally...more so in the later episodes. Episode 14 & Episode 16 have one character uttering the words F***ing b*tch and F*** you.

- Its very dark and mature. Episode 8 in particular is filled with grief inducing scenes and brutal, graphic violence.
