Partly boring, partly touching
fieselb10 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I have been watching Grey's Anatomy since season 1 and looking back, I can say that this episode was one of the most emotional ones so far. Of course, the Meredith-can't-come-back-to-Derek storyline got boring after two episodes. But the thing that really touched me was the patient story in this episode. We already saw two of the patients on Meredith's and Derek's project die, more or less tragic. But when this woman was told that her boyfriend, the only person that had ever loved her, was an product of her mind, she burst into tears and was operated. I nearly cried when it turned out that Andre was very real and that she would not wake up from coma again. The last thing she thought before being operated was that nobody ever truly loved her. A horrible fate and with this story the episode has earned 9 stars for me; for the Meredith thing I would have given three or four.

Over a Graham Cracker

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, the clinical trial-pasients' stories are all extremely good. This one is just as sad and heartbreaking as the last one. The actress with the tumor is so talented! I really loved this story. And seeing Sheperd and Meredith both tear up like that is so moving. This case really made this episode for me!

Lexie was great when she talked back to Cristina. Cristina is clearly hurting, and being meaner than ever. It's well done. Fits the character.

George is being drifty these days. I think he shines when he takes charge and dare to speak his mind.

Hahn is bitter and rude, nothing new there. But I still think the character is very realistic and fits well in a hospital situation.

Chief trying to win back Adele is a little cheesy, but funny.

O'Leary?

Just like ALL the other episodes...I'm in love. But did no one notice Dr. Tapley called George "O'Leary"? There was no indication his slip-up was a symptom of his illness, so it appears he just slipped-up.

Callie and Hahn

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Cristina, she is vacuuming the floor. Rebecca tells Izzie that she is pregnant, but the test results tell another story. Walter needs a open heart surgery, he wants it at the Seattle Grace Hospital. Meredith has another therapy session at Katharine. Hahn performs Walter his surgery. Bailey has a heated brawl with Tucker at the hospital. George is taking care of Tuck. Alex discovered that Rebecca isn't pregnant. Walter his surgery was successful. Hahn kissed Callie in the elevator. Meredith tells Katharine that her mother wanted to kill herself in the past. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 4, a great Episode with a lot of revelations and exciting moments!

Jumped the Shark

Warning: Spoilers
I think Grey's Anatomy has jumped the shark with this episode. This is the one. I always thought that ER was a better show, but this episode solidified that to me.

They're right about the title "Losing My Mind" because the writers/producers have lost their mind right here. The two same-sex characters hooking up (kissing) is a desperate move on their part. My interpretation was it was not done as normal character development but instead for the shock value they hoped it would bring to the show. The

The Meredith back-and-forth thing with Derek is old, boring, and predictable. She can't commit, she wants to commit. ENOUGH!

I think Katherine Heigl was right about not getting good material in Season 4. Nobody did. It was a waste of everybody.

I will watch the season ending, but I doubt I'll be back for Season 5. Bye.
