- Behind the scenes of a theatrical drama, the ancient animosity between stage actors and backstage crew is about to explode into open warfare.
- The films opens with a scene between two lovers with very odd dialogue. It quickly becomes apparent that this is a scene that is being performed in a stage play.
We then go backstage to see an escalating series of insults and dirty tricks that pit the cast of the show against the tech crewmembers, adding to the already poisonous atmosphere behind the scenes.
After the evening's performance concludes the actors are seen changing into their street clothes. They discuss going to a bar together and depart as a group.
As they cross the theater's darkened stage, the lights come up suddenly to reveal that the actors are surrounded by tech crewmembers wielding various improvised weapons. Threats are exchanged and a brawl ensues with both sides getting pounded.
Suddenly, the leader of the crew declares a truce. He declares that through their combat he has found new respect for the actors. Both sides shake hands and help each other up.
The next scene is outside the theater's stage door. The actors depart and the crew sends them off with smiles and waves from the doorway as the actors walk past the camera to the parking lot. A car alarm chirps once and then the crew is lit up by a tremendous flash and defeaning explosions from off-camera.
The crew is unsurprised by this turn of events and has clearly intentionally killed the cast. They go back into the theater cheerfully.
