Very poor writing, clearly aimed at (and assuming that) a childish audience, sinks this "Highway Patrol" episode about not-too-bright female robbers. I found it especially poor to have an ending where nothing happens -practically no dialogue when Brod catches the gals, just roll those credits.
Unless you're a fetishist (see previous review here re: cross-dressing), it's completely uninteresting. The actresses were only mildly attractive, would-be sweater girls one supposes but with no Stella Adler training. There's plenty of references to their violent ruthlessness, but none shown, it being a G rated tv medium at the time.
Not even interesting as a police procedural, this is filmmaking at its weakest, making a Monogram or PRC production of the '40s look innovative, or the endless stream of 21st Century crap mildly clever. Not even up to the level of hackwork. I was addicted to this and similar shows as a child, so it's a bit embarrassing to see six decades later how lame this stuff could be.
Not sure if it's a precursor of product placement, but the cars all seemed to be late-model Fords.
