- The boys move out of the dream-house after Vince refused to earn Medellin's $60,000,000 in bed. Ari finds a new financier, Nicky Rubinstein who just got access to his trust fund. Now they asks QB-director Billy Walsh, who prefers life as porn movie director 'Wally Balls', until he reads it's about Escobar. Alas he and Niucky hate each-other. E is prepared to compromise his relation with Sloan to be the producer. Meanwhile Drama was prepared to take a Spartan rental flat, but can hardly resist a condo way above budget.—KGF Vissers
- Vince had to sell the house to buy Medellin. The guys vacate the mansion. E moves in with Sloan.
Nick Rubinstein steps in as a producer for "Medellin". Nicky turned 35 and his trust fund kicked in, & since he wants to move out of the shadows of his father, he decides to fund Medellin. Since there is still not enough money for producing a complete motion picture (Studio budgeted the movie at $65 M, but Nicky only has $ 25 M), the search for a good director who knows how to keep the movie-making process cheap begins. E and Vince think about Billy and Nicky knows him from Queens Boulevard. So, Eric and Vince meet with Billy Walsh (Rhys Coiro), who started to work as a porn movie director under the alias Wally Balls, to convince him to direct "Medellin". Billy has a 25 movie deal with the porn producers and is trying to bring the 70's style class to the porn film business.
E & Billy trade insults over Queen's Boulevard (E says that even though Billy is a total douche-bag, but still Vince, Billy and the Medellin script is a home run), but eventually Billy agrees to read the Medellin script. Billy loves it (he wanted to make a movie on Pablo Escobar forever), but when he talks to Nicky, he asks for more money & keeps calling him "trust fund baby". This angers Nicky no end
E & Vince go for a peace meeting dinner between Nicky & Billy. Billy sticks to his guns for $ 30 MM & wants final cut of the movie. Nicky is ready to walk, but E & Vince convince Nicky that Billy will create a great movie. Nicky writes a check for $ 30 MM and walks away.
To have this meeting with Billy, Eric had to cancel a date for lunch with Sloan, with whom he had just moved in. Sloan asks E about what future he has in mind for the 2 of them (if he is going to go away for 6 months to shoot Medellin). E hasn't thought about it, but Sloan forces the issue.
After Eric has moved in with Sloan, Turtle and Drama search for a new apartment, but their budget is quite small. Drama rents a studio for $800 a month. But quickly gets a call from Shauna (apparently the land lady recognized drama and called US weekly, who in turn called Shauna to confirm the story), who forbids him from renting anything with less than 2 toilets. Shauna sends him to an address in Beverly hills. Drama accidentally walks into a condo that's for sale for $ 1.4 MM, & loves it. He now cant agree to anything else. Vince tells Drama to go for the house with a low-ball offer. Drama starts at $950K, and is at $1.3 MM, when the agent gets a call for the condo for $1.4 MM. Drama ends up offering $1.5 MM for the condo, when the agent wont budge.
E tells Vince that he is willing to put Sloan on hold to make Medellin. Billy calls & says he wants to shoot the movie in Spanish.
